Excellent images to go with the text. Thanks, Dan.
Ever see this movie?
Joseph - (1995) Starring Martin Landau as Jacob

Thank you, Alba.
No, I missed it. Any good?
Bookmark. We have been studying Joseph the last three months.
I don’t quite understand the last one.
I’m reminded of an event in my long and checkered career.
We’re brainstorming with a customer, and in my usual fashion (my idea hamster runs the wheel at full speed 24/7) I’m making suggestion after suggestion after suggestion.
The customer hold up his hand. looks my boss in the eye and says “How do you know which of his ideas are good ones???”
Without batting an eye, The Boss deadpans, “Simple, just ask him to do them.”
It is excellent and is quite biblical (Martin Landau was Jewish).
Potiphar was played by Ben Kingsley.
Potiphar’s wife was played by Lesley Ann Warren.

Joseph was unrecognized by his brothers.
He was in charge of the food and they were begging him for some.......................
It is usually on TNT around Easter time. Check your local listings.......................
Not sure I understand it, either. It appears to be starving Egyptians coming to Joseph for help while Pharaoh watches.
The proof of the pudding is in the making.
Now that you mention Ben and Leslie, it seems familiar.
This painting is on the ceiling of the Louvre’s Egyptian Hall (I don’t remember the exact name). It depicts the nymph Syrinx who had cast her fires into the Nile drying its waters. From this action arise the seven years of famine, seen here as they rush to devour her. She takes refuge in the arms of Joseph who saves her. The Pharaoh who had witnessed the scene declared Joseph the liberator of Egypt.
????
Yes, I remember it, too. It was very good. Great acting all around, I thought.
Lesley Ann Warren- rowrrrrr….🙂
I didn’t check, but I think it was produced by the same people that produced Abraham…
That is the ugliest “woman” I have ever seen................
bttt
